Medical Billing and Coding Job Training Program
The Medical Billing and Coding Program trains students to work in the rapidly growing medical field. Boca Helping Hands (BHH) partners with a Certified Professional Coder instructor to provide students with the tools needed to gain their Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certification.
+ Are 18 years of age or older
+ Have a High School Diploma or GED (in English)
+ Have a valid driver’s license and Social Security Card
+ Have strong English language skills
+ Have reliable transportation
+ Pass Level 1 background screening check
+ Refundable deposit required
Phase One: One week of Job Readiness taught virtually via Zoom. Monday through Friday from 9am - 4pm.
Phase Two: This program includes five courses, each approximately 7 weeks in length. Classes are held twice a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 - 9pm. Approximately 9 months of classes in total.
Phase Three: Graduates work with BHH Job Mentors to update/create resumes, practice mock interviews, and learn how to navigate employment sites for open positions.
Please note that all phases are mandatory for successful completion of the program.
