Boca Helping Hands provides limited financial assistance to parents/guardians working 32+ hours and living in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, Greenacres, or Palm Springs.


All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Boca Helping Hands’ financial resource policies and can take up to 7 days to process.


Childcare Assistance Program (CAP) includes the following:

  • Preschool
  • Daycare
  • Aftercare
  • Summer Camp

In the essence of time and to assist our screeners with your case, please bring all the documents listed below at the time of your appointment.

Applicants MUST be working a minimum of 32+ hours and reside in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, Palm Springs or Greenacres. 


Checklist of Required Documentation


  • Completion of the Boca Helping Hands Income & Expenditure Statement found here.

 

  • Proof of employment and hours worked: Last three pay slips, if applicable for both parents/guardians. 
  • Exception: Full-time students may provide proof of enrollment and credits in place of proof of income.

 

  • Childcare Invoice: Invoice must include a current date, invoice number and relevant fees. 

 

  • Birth Certificate: For each child, if applicable.

 

  • Proof or residency: Current Mortgage or Lease. If residency is less than a year, a previous lease or mortgage document is required.

 

  • Proof of all income: Last three months of bank statements for all accounts - if applicable for both parents/guardians. 

       Exception: Full-time students may provide proof of enrollment and credits in place of proof of income.

 

  • Valid Government issued picture ID - if applicable for both parents.
