Christmas Dinner with Boca Helping Hands and The Wayne Barton Study Center
One of the most anticipated events of the year is fast approaching. Each year, Boca Helping Hands partners with the Wayne Barton Study Center to provide a Christmas Dinner for the residents of Dixie Manor and Pearl City. Held at the Wayne Barton Study Center, this year’s dinner will take place on Sunday afternoon, December 12th. Food will be provided by a host of local congregations, synagogues and businesses. And of course, Wayne himself will rise early to smoke the turkeys! Since it involves cooking, you can bet our own Executive Director will be right there next to Wayne stirring the pots! Lunch will be served beginning at 1:30. The high point of the day is, of course, the visit from Santa Claus who arrives on a Boca Raton fire truck and passes out presents to the children.
