Charity Navigator Announces 2017 Ratings!

Boca Helping Hands Once Again Earns Perfect Score of 100

and 11th Consecutive 4-Star Rating!

"Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success."

--Henry Ford

On Thursday, June 1st, Charity Navigator, the nation's largest assessor of non-profit organizations, released its 2017 ratings. And for the 11th consecutive year, Boca Helping Hands received a 4-Star Rating. Organizations are proud to receive this highest rating for one year...or two...or even three. But 11 consecutive years? This is simply overwhelming.

But the news got even better...

Last year, Charity Navigator also began rating charities on a scale of 1 to 100. You might remember that BHH was one of only 51 charities nationwide to receive a perfect score of 100. In the entire State of Florida, only two charities earned a perfect score.

Well...Boca Helping Hands has done it again. For the second year in a row, BHH has earned a perfect score of 100 out of a possible 100 points. Only 58 charities in the United States earned that designation, putting BHH in some good company. Boca Helping Hands was one of only five charities in the State of Florida to earn a perfect score of 100. To put this in perspective, there are over 83,000 non-profit organizations in the State of Florida...and 6,866 non-profit organizations in Palm Beach County alone!!!

Board, Staff, Donors, Contributors and especially our Volunteers should all take a measure of pride in this accomplishment. A strategic thinking board, a highly motivated staff, generous donors and contributors and the best volunteers in Palm Beach County are our recipe for success. With each person carrying out their task with passion, compassion and professionalism, the best days of Boca Helping Hands have yet to be reached. Eleven years...and counting...

(Psssst: we want 12...)

With respect,
