Happy National Kindness Day! 👐 Today, we celebrate and say goodbye to longtime volunteers Kurt and Heide as they retire abroad.
They started volunteering with Boca Helping Hands in 2006 and have held numerous roles in that time, from working in the kitchen, picking up food from local restaurants, to helping us get our West Boca pantry bag distribution off the ground.
"Heide and Kurt have been an integral part of what we do here," said Lourdes Harman, Food Center Manager. "They have the biggest hearts and compassion for others. We will miss them!"
We thank them for their commitment to our mission and donating their time and talents to our community. They will always remain a part of the Boca Helping Hands family and will continue to inspire others to make kindness the norm!
