In the spring and South Florida, the snowbirds being to trek north - and this year, Boca Helping Hands is taking a similar path.

FAU

Building on your support over the past year, we are significantly enhancing our programs and expanding our services northward to reach new communities throughout Palm Beach County.

We recently extended eligibility for our emergency financial assistance to our clients in Boynton Beach and expanded our feeding programs in Boynton Beach and Lantana/Lake Worth.

In May, we officially opened a second warehouse on our main campus, which will allow us to continue recovering and distributing more food as the need grows in all of the communities we serve.

On the job training front, we will soon be supporting students who wish to pursue career opportunities in the construction trades. And, in a newly established partnership with  FAU’s  Christine  E. Lynn College of Nursing, we will also be increasing access to affordable healthcare for uninsured clients at their Community Health Center in West Palm Beach.

All of these initiatives stem from a three-year extension of our strategic plan, which aims to offer more services and extend our arms further into the community than ever before.

There is a sense of exhilaration throughout our organization as we explore the most effective ways to meet the growing needs we're seeing. Most of all, though, we continue to be inspired by the generosity of a community that has supported us every step along the way.

We are so grateful for your continued confidence in our vision and your ongoing encouragement to keep expanding and growing to help those who need us most.
