Get entry level construction training, receive your OSHA 10 certification and safety card while sampling in-demand trades before embarking on your educational journey and new career.


The Pre-Apprenticeship Program (27 hours) offers trade specific introductory sessions for the Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC apprenticeships at a training facility convenient to Boca Raton residents.


Additional financial support offered on a case-by-case basis.

Requirements:
+ Are 18 years of age or older
+ Have a High School Diploma or GED (in English)
+ Have a valid driver’s license and Social Security Card

+ Provide the last 3 months of bank statements to establish financial need
+ Have strong English language skills
+ Have reliable transportation
+ Have proof of a licensed and insured vehicle
+ Pass Level 1 background screening check


Phase One: One week of Job Readiness taught virtually via Zoom. Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. 


Phase Two: Pre-Apprenticeship program (27 hours) of entry level construction training.


Phase Three: Graduates work with BHH Job Mentors to update/create resumes, practice mock interviews, and learn how to navigate employment sites for open positions.
