Greg grew up in his native Jamaica and migrated with his family to Florida in 1985. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the West Indies and an MBA in Finance from the University of Miami. In 2014 he joined the Board of Directors of Boca Helping Hands, a community-based nonprofit providing a range of services throughout Palm Beach County. He became its Executive Director in 2017. Since then, he has been instrumental in growing the reach and impact of the organization, which now serves over 35,000 people a year.
Prior to his involvement with Boca Helping Hands, Greg had an extensive corporate career, having served as a senior executive in various functions at NextEra (parent of FPL) as well as at several other Fortune 500 companies. His corporate roles included process engineering, corporate finance, strategic planning, and project development. Greg is married, and he and his wife, Tina, have two daughters, Ebonie and Tara. The family has lived in Boca Raton since 1993. In his spare time, Greg enjoys golf, soccer, and music.
Greg is on the board of The Nonprofit Chamber 2020-2023.
