Qwintarius J. came across Boca Helping Hands after working as a cook and security guard for many years. After extensive research on different industries and their corresponding growth in the workplace, he found the Electrical Apprenticeship Program offered through Boca Helping Hands’ partnership with Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Institute.
After completing the Electrical Apprenticeship Program, Qwintarius attended a job fair hosted by ABC where he found an opportunity to work with Pomeroy Electric as a sponsored apprentice.
“It’s really the perfect environment for me to grow and learn because of the vast knowledge the professionals I work alongside hold and are willing to pour into me.”
Qwintarius's goal is to own his own company that serves his community after garnering the experience it takes to get there. Qwintarius thanks Boca Helping Hands for the support and encouragement throughout his journey.
