After completing our year-long Medical Billing & Coding course and countless hours of rigorous studying, Job Training Student Dominique L. passed her state exam! She landed a job with our healthcare partner Genesis Community Health as a HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) Coordinator back in April, but now she'll be transitioned into a Certified Professional Coder position within the organization.
Dominique says this program has been a blessing and has helped her get her foot in the door in the medical field. "In the next five years, I aspire to become a senior coder," she said.
