Saturday morning, James S. Gavrilos, Boca Helping Hands Executive Director and four women from the Junior League of Boca Raton went to the Miami area to pick up recovered food from the annual South Beach Wine and Food Festival. Upon returning to BHH seven ladies from the Junior League met the truck and helped with the unloading of the food. Students from PBSC Rotarack were also on hand to help put the 4,000lbs of food away.
Boca Helping Hands thanks the South Beach Wine and Food Festival for its efforts in food recovery. We appreciate being asked to take part.
