Boca Helping Hands Honored at 2nd Annual Mayors' Ball

For the second year, the Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton sponsored the Mayors’ Ball… a Black Tie Gala attended by over 400 people. Each year, they honor an outstanding community non-profit, a for-profit and a philanthropist. The 2016 Mayors’ Ball was held Sunday Evening at Broken Sound Club of Boca Raton and featured an Oscar-style arrival for all guests, dignitaries and honorees. Before a sold-out crowd of 440 people, the Rotary Club of Downtown Boca honored the Boca Raton Resort (For-Profit category), Boca Helping Hands (Non-Profit category), and Christine E. Lynn (Philanthropist). The entire Boca Helping Hands family expresses its appreciation to the Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton for both the honor and the wonderful evening.

And to make the evening even more special, the other two recipients are both strong supporters of BHH! Ms. Christine E. Lynn and the E.M. Lynn Foundation have supported Boca Helping Hands with an annual grant for years, while the Boca Raton Resort and Club partner with BHH to provide 700 Thanksgiving Dinners to be served to our clients at BHH and at our western pantry site on Thanksgiving Day.
