Boca Raton Fire Fighter & Paramedic Benevolent Fund donates AED to BHH
Thank you to the Boca Raton Fire Fighter & Paramedic Benevolent Fund for donating an AED to Boca Helping Hands. We had seven of our staff or volunteers come for a training session, led by Diane Lee, on Thursday to learn CPR and how to use the AED.
Raul Travieso, President of the BR FF & Paramedic Benevolent Fund presented Jack Jaiven, BHH Board Treasurer, with an AED. There is a permanent plaque above the AED telling of this donation.
Defibrillators are a vital link in keeping someone alive. We learned the process of calling 911, starting CPR and getting the defibrillator ready to go. We hope we won't have to use this important lifesaving equipment but we have it and with the training we will be ready.
Thank you again to Raul Travieso, President; and the Boca Raton Fire Fighter & Paramedic Benevolent Fund for this gift!!
