Job Mentoring Success Story - Jigna C.

November 1, 2021

Jigna C. was a stay-at-home mom for many years, taking care of her daughter. But when she recently became an empty nester, she was ready to refocus on her professional life. Even though Jigna has an accounting degree, she was having a hard time finding a job due to her absence from the workforce.

Jigna heard about Boca Helping Hands from an online source and reached out to enroll in our mentorship program. She met with BHH Job Mentor and Board Member Gary Hildebrand, who helped her gain confidence and create a resume highlighting her strengths and past experience.

"He listened to my goals, motivated me, and helped me prepare an amazing resume," she said.

Jigna has since landed a job at a large property management company as an accounting administrative clerk. She says she's happy with her new role and that Gary's "help and mentorship influenced [her] getting this job." We are so proud of her accomplishments, and we look forward to seeing her thrive!
