Midwest soccer team from Region II ODP Gives Back to Boca Helping Hands

On Monday, November 22, the Midwest soccer team from Region II ODP, here for a tournament, came by Boca Helping Hands to do some community service. Barb Siebert, Region staff member, looked us up on the web and thought we would be a good fit for their team. Coach Lang Wedemeyer spoke with our Executive Director, Jim Gavrilos and set up an afternoon for this group of Junior and Senior High School Female Soccer players to help with the warehouse triage. Coach Han Leung also was on hand to supervise and lift many heavy boxes. 

The young ladies sorted, marked through barcodes, and just had fun helping out on their day off from their Region II ODP Tournament. We wish these young ladies much luck on their tournament games and also in any future endeavor. Thank you ladies for spending an afternoon giving back at Boca Helping Hands!
