MaryAnn started volunteering at BHH in 2017. She was accompanying her granddaughter so she could earn community service hours for school.
Ever since, she's been an integral part of our warehouse team, making sure pantry bags filled with groceries are ready for distribution.
Being retired, she wants to remain active and says she looks forward to her time volunteering. When talking about the team, she says, "I've met nice people, and we've all been together for several years, and it's just like getting out to see your friends."
MaryAnn says her inspiration to volunteer stems from wanting to do something worthwhile for others. She adds that she's proud to tell people about BHH and what a great place it is.
